We are family....today we began to build Mom's apartment. Bob & I are ready for the project to begin.. things have been happening around here. Bob & Amie went over the blueprints often with others and make changes as needed. Dennis & Jodie and Bob cleared all the area and prepared it ready to work in. Bob has been talking to Roy & Jimmy...then going to LOWES to order the supplies needed to start. On Friday we had the delivery truck from Lowes arrive. Then Roy & Bev came in from Chicago...their car filled with tools...lots of power and great help. Jimmy, our great electrician was ready to go...our Wise Guy ... of the clan. Patty & her boys...Jim & John both working and if we had anything wrong...Johnny, made it right. Patty, kept us on track. Dennis, Amie, Jered & Aaron all working on the kitchen area and...hauling the supplies, measuring, sawing, hammering, whatever they could help with they did.
Bob... along with a few... made several trips back to Lowes/Home Depot also. The day was full of hard work and much love. Bev & I went and got Mom and she was with all of us. Jodie, helped me with feeding the work crew and Alivia was nice & cozy with Bella. It is amazing what can happen when you get a family of {mostly} SCOTS who are so willing, capable, smart, loud, funny and yes ... good looking and tackle a project together ... for our own...Mom~Mother In-Law~Grama~Grama Betty~Cousin.
