Today is Father's Day... we heard an encouraging message in church this morning and
then came home to get ready for Bob's... Father's Day Dinner.
Jodie & Dennis & kids are staying around home today...Dennis started his day with a 30 mile bike ride...what he so enjoys...and then out for dinner at Sagebrushes.
Corey & Heather & kids are in Texas...at home....out for dinner and Corey is outside
enjoying & working in his beautiful yard.
Frank & Cherie & Collin came over for a visit...this is Frank's 1st Father's Day!
Collin is so adorable & so happy...just look at his smile...Cherie shared with us
how he can give hugs, kisses and knows where his nose is. Then they went to Ikea
to look for ideas for their new kitchen.
So...I got the Menu for dinner on the way...
Baby Back Ribs
Baked Potatoes
Coleslaw
Corn on the Cob
Sliced Tomatos
Fresh Bread
Ice Tea

I grilled the Ribs.....slow...let Bob kick back in his recliner until dinner was ready and the let him have the honor of brushing on the BBQ Sauce to finish off
the BBRibs....OMG...the best ever ribs. The meat just came off the bones...so
tender and all the food was perfect...We ate on the deck and the weather was so
beautiful. For the Desert Menue...Lemon Meringue Pie, Mini Carrot & Cream Cheese
Cupcakes and Mini Chocolate Eclairs.

We spent the rest of his day...together and it was very nice...but we missed our kids and our grandchildren.
I'm so thankful for Bob...he is a good man and a good Father and a great Papa.

June ... a month of Birthdays

"Celebrate Good Times...Come On"... Happy Birthday...Frank. From June 1st until the end of June we have a
family celebration going on. In the middle of June we also have Father's Day and a Wedding Anniversary. We had a great dinner and cake & ice cream on Frank's birthday. I baked a Devils Food Dark Chocolate Cake with a White Whipped Icing in the center and Dark Chocolate Icing on top...OMW...what a cake! We all enjoyed it! Everything was sweet. How can you go wrong with Grilled Steaks & Potatoes, Salad, bread and birthday cake along with some funny cards & gifts. We had a great time together.
