Mother's Day 2009

Abundance is ... a good Mom.

Abundance is ... being tucked in bed at night.

Abundance is ... riding in the car as kids with Mom...singing.

Abundance is ... a comfy home and the smell of a home cooked meal.

Abundance is ... waiting for Mom to take us shopping to Eastland & eat at Sanders.

Abundance is ... going to visit family & our cousins.

Abundance is ... drinking a cup of tea together & sharing your family heritage.

Abundance is ... being loved by your Mom and loving her back....always.

Mom...& Mother's Day

Mother's Day is always special...knowing my Mother and all she is to me has blessed my life with so much good...Thanks Mom!
Also in May is My Mom's birthday too...so we always celebrate in May.
My Mom turned ... 80 this May. At 80 my Mom can still... cook the best Homemade Sauce & Pasta ever and her salad is just right...something about how she mixes all the ingredients perfect...olive oil, red wine vinegar all together...she can still tap a few steps...sing a good song...play a little on the piano and share her love.
Most of all I just love to be with our family and hear the stories of her growing up and sharing the memories of her life. My Mom has been my hero and still is today. So on Mother's day we got together and grilled some steaks and had a relaxing Sunday at home.I made a trip to our favorite bakery...Manninos to get Mom a Sicilian Cassata Cake and some Cannolis too...thanks to Phil, and his Italian heritage we know good authentic Italian food and enjoy sharing as a family cooking and eating all
the wonderful dishes. I will always be thankful for my Mom and who she is... a beautiful lady.

Easter at our home...

Happy Easter...

So glad the weather was nice on Easter to have the Egg Hunt outside. Bob and Frank
hid the eggs...some not so easy to find. Andrew & Alivia did good hunting for the eggs. It was a relaxing Sunday with our family and a great Easter dinner. Amie and
Grama were playing around with the keyboard downstairs having fun. After dinner
Dennis left for IN to be with his Mom for surgery on Monday. We are praying for a miracle of healing for Diana. We snacked on Easter Candy and enjoyed some cake & pie
together. Later we talked with Corey and his family.
