Starting to look like ... Mom's Place

Tuesday at 8 am ... drywall guys come ready to work ... sounded like they would
be coming through the floors any time. The sawing...the drill/screwing and some
hammering here and there and then often you would here a lot Spanish talking
between friends and often laughter...that's good. Now it is 2:15 and they just
finished for the day. Hmmm ... 6 hours of work ... lets see what they did. I go
downstairs with my camera in hand and WOW!... is all I can say. I was so
excited to see the results ... the whole downstairs has all the drywall up and
Wednesday is... Mud Day ... the mudding begins and Mario said ...when they are
done with that...NO sanding...it will be ready to paint. YES! Take a look ...
awesome workers do awesome work.

More... Drywall from LOWE'S

Now we are ready for the crew to come in and drywall all the rooms ... every
wall, all the ceiling and the drop ceilings ... that Bob & Dennis framed up...
now we will see how great that makes it look. Tuesday ... is the big work day.
Monday night...THANK YOU...Jimmy...my Wise Guy...Cousin in the Clan...being
the best electrician ever ... fixed a light that had to be moved in the bathroom
before the drywall could go up...so he drove out after work and Bev came with him
and saw all that is done...Thanks again, Jimmy.

Collin with Daddy & Mommy ...

Sunday was so sweet ... Frank, Cherie & Collin came over to see us.
The baby is so precious...just look how adorable he is...and I know the flash
on the camera made him frown ... just looking around and listening to every
sound. Frank and Bob moved some heavy stuff out of the way in the basement
preparing for Mario & Co. the drywall guys to work on Monday. Every bit of
help counts and progress is made for ... Mom's Place.

More Snow...and Warm Bread Pudding

How could I forget about the Best Ever ... Yummy Homemade ... Bread Pudding
we also had ... This is the best I have ever made or tasted ... I skipped the
Rum Sauce and just served with Real Whip Cream. This so good warm or cold
with a nice cup of hot tea. We now have a new family recipe to add to our
recipe book.

Thanksgiving Day...just the 2 of us

We had a nice Thanksgiving ... I don't remember ever it just being the 2 of us.
This time of year is always special to us ... Bob & I met a week before Thanksgiving
and now that has been 34 years since we first met.
Our plans changed ... so with all the family out of town ... we cooked our traditional Thanksgiving Dinner and even ate on our beautiful fine China our children gave to us ... and it was wonderful! Then we went to see ...
AUSTRALIA ... a very good movie...worth seeing...time during World War II with
history and a love story. So ... our day together was really sweet.

I really like the scrapbook line...Fancy Pants, that I used to create these boards
and a few extras added also.
