Sweet Memories of blogging.

Recently .. my friend Sherry,  and I were talking about blogging.

So we took a look at my blog ...  A Few of My Favorite Things ~

I was so encouraged to begin blogging again.

Thankful for ... friends who  inspire & encourage our passion.


In January 2013 ... I received good health reports from all my Drs.

Grateful and so very Thankful ... for God being with me ... always.
I had friends over for ...  A Time for Tea ~ to celebrate.
Just a small ... Thank You ~
for their support of care & prayers through my journey of healing.

 

Just loved sharing together with a ... Wee Cup of Tea.
We slowed down ... put the kettle on ... sipped tea together...
laughed and talked about God's goodness.

Abundance is ...

creating something special out of the ordinary.

the velvet petals of a newly opened flower.

a slice of moon in a cold winter sky.

renting a three-hanky romance video and having a good cry.

friends knocking at the front door.

the laughter of good friends.

The most extraodinary thing about the oyster is this...

Irritations get into his shell ..... When he cannot get rid of them,

he uses the irritations to do the loveliest thing an oyster ever has

a chance to do. If there are irritations in our lives today, there is

only one prescription: make a pearl. It may have to be a pearl of

patience, but anyhow, make a pearl.

And it takes faith and love to do that.

By Design...Scrapbook Boutique

My favorite scrapbook store in TEXAS...the Boutique. I cropped here once with Heather. So just the girls...Heather & I went shopping for some scrap supplies. This store is so fun and full of so much and so up with new products and then their ideas are wonderful. Everyone there is so sweet. You leave with great inspiration. Just look at all the creativity you see from their displays and projects created. We enjoyed this afternoon together getting some new ideas to scrap some sweet memories. Scrapbooking is big in...TEXAS!
